Adcock Ingram manufactures, distributes and markets a wide range of medicines and healthcare products. The company initiated its direct to customer distribution strategy in 2012.

As part of a R1.5 billion capital investment project, Adcock Ingram has invested considerable resources in its distribution infrastructure. The investment includes bulk warehouse storage as well as a state of the art fine picking system, which allows us to better manage our warehouse throughput and provide a comprehensive logistics solution for our partners.

A part of the direct to customer strategy was the launch of our Owner Driver Scheme. This enterprise development initiative enabled us to empower some of our long serving employees with the opportunity to have their own business. We see this as one other avenue of adding value to lives of the people we work with.

Adcock Ingram is working to find long-term environmental solutions to reduce the carbon footprint of its national logistics presence.
