Required Learning:

  • Matric
  • Certificate of disability (Medical Certificate from specialist)
  • Age between 18 and 35
  •  Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Sciences will serve as an added advantage
  • Industry knowledge will serve as an added advantage
  • Some working experience will serve as an added advantage
  • Must not have been part of any learnership previously

Key Outputs :

  • The objective of the program is to provide a learner with meaningful workplace experience in conducting research, perform investigations, and undertake fieldwork to identify, abate or eliminate sources of pollutants or hazards affecting the environment or the health of the population.

Core Competencies:

  • Basic Computer Literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Good interpersonal skills & self-driven/starter
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Must be able to work in a team and/or independently
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
  • Basic administration skills
