Midrand - 10 April 2014 – Resolutions were today passed at an extraordinary general meeting of Adcock Ingram shareholders, held at the company’s Midrand head office, to appoint three new board members.
Those appointed as independent directors are Dr Anna Mokgokong, co-founder and executive chairperson of Community Investment Holdings (Pty) Ltd, Mr Lindsay Ralphs, CEO of Bidvest South Africa and Mr Roshan Morar, Managing Director of Morar Incorporated.
The appointment of these non-executive directors is with immediate effect.
These appointments follow the recent appointments of Mr Brian Joffe as Chairman and Mr Motty Sacks as non-executive director, respectively, of Adcock Ingram.
Adcock Ingram, listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, is a leading South African pharmaceutical company which manufactures, markets and distributes a wide range of healthcare products. The company is a leading supplier to both the private and public sectors of the market.
