Required Learning:
- Qualified CA (SA)
- Minimum 5 years’ financial management experience at a senior management level
- Knowledge of Oracle finance modules will be an advantage
- Working knowledge and experience within the Pharmaceutical environment will be an advantage
- Minimum 5 years’ transport plus courier experience is essential
- Legal and Statutory requirements for registered PTY’s is essential
- Merger and acquisition experience is essential
Key Outputs :
- Demonstrate commercial acumen in areas of improving business performance at a strategic and practical level as opposed to simply reporting numbers, constantly scanning for business and cost/income improvement opportunities. Supporting the MD with growth and sustainability strategies.
- Oversee the reporting process for the business unit, ensuring efficient timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, interim and annual financial reports including monitoring actual performance against budgets, identifying and investigating variances.
- Prepare various finance reports for Board meetings, including detailed monthly commentary for MD report
- Other ad-hoc reports and models prepared as required to support the business in terms of the supply of financial information for decision making as well as business development.
- Prepare detailed annual budget.
- Prepare and manage financial year-end audit.
- Oversee Stock Management processes for the division to ensure optimal working capital maintained.
